Snow Saturday

The snow was not extremely deep, but there was plenty to blanket the yard and house and apple trees, and to yield a snow man...
he looked very suave in the scarf I knitted (borrowed today from one of Amilia's toys)...

The cats have never seen snow, and were not certain how they felt... Seuss mostly felt like staying on the porch. He will be 12 in April, and is a Ragdoll mix (with Maine Coon, we believe). He has always been the Regal His Heighness who just prefers to sit on high and take it all in, leaving the killing and eating of critters mostly to others...
Striper (very original, yes?) was much more adventurous. He will be 2 in April, and comes from a much more scrappy street mix...
After watching the last episode of CATS 101, I am pretending he is a Savannah cat...
We had a lot of fun, and though there is only a small amount of accumulated snow, we have more in the forecast...
